About the company

DMT Insenerid OÜ was established in 2006 as a company active in designing building structures. During years of its activity the company has designed public buildings, apartment buildings, kindergartens, factory buildings, warehouses and many other types of buildings. As a main field of activity we design load-bearing structures of buildings and erections starting from consulting the client and ending with ready work designs, including product drawings of elements made of reinforced concrete and steel.

The company was established and is owned by Daimar Taalfeld, Marek Siim and Tõnis Raatma, who are principle engineers of DMT Insenerid, having huge experience in the field of designing. We have ten employees with specialised qualification in our office, who give maximum effort in all construction designs to be prepared by us.

We started our business with designing building structures. 2008. In 2008 we implemented Tekla Structures building information modelling software, which enabled us to design 3D building structures. For today we have gained recognition in Tekla BIM international contest, where our design experience in 3D modelling of laminated wood constructions was pointed out.

In 2008 we designed concrete structures for Tartu Science Centre AHHAA and extension of the existing building of the Tallinn Airport.

In 2009 we obtained a road management work activity licence and we started designing bridges and overpasses. We designed the pedestrian tunnels in Lagedi and Ülemiste crossings and reconstruction of the expansion bridge of Kaunissaare catchment.

In 2010 we made first designs for the Scandinavian market. In co-operation with a Norwegian design office and Estonian construction companies we designed an office building located 10 Ryenstuben in Oslo, a Siemens office building in Finspang, Sweden and metal structures of a ski-jumping hill at Holmenkollen in Oslo.
